Meet the Team

Jake is one of the organisers of Sonic Con UK, you can usually find them managing the social media channels, making artwork and content, as well as booking guests and handling social media enquiries.

Jake is a huge Sonic fan and collects the Jakks Pacific figures and Lego sets but is very quickly running out of space. Their favourite games from the franchise are Sonic Adventure 2, Heroes and Frontiers.

Outside of Sonic Con UK, they also co-organise RakuCon and works as an illustrator, usually selling at conventions across the country.

Kay is one of the organisers of Sonic Con UK! They do more behind the scenes work, including creating floor plans and schedules, organising applications for dealers, performers and panellists, and general admin stuff!

Kay also cosplays, some of her recent cosplays include Beidou from Genshin Impact, Becca from Cyberpunk Edgerunners, and most importantly, Rouge the Bat!! Her first Sonic game was Sonic Advance on the Game Boy Advance SP she had as a kid, but they have since played many more Sonic games both solo and with Jake.

Along with Sonic Con UK, they also co-organise RakuCon and regularly attend conventions across the country helping out at Jake's table!

David is the technical director of Sonic Con UK! He handles the audio/visual sides of things - from selecting, setting up and running stage equipment like speakers and mixers to building customised software to tackle various problems.

David's first Sonic game was Sonic Heroes and his favourite is Sonic Generations. He has a collection of retro consoles including the SEGA Dreamcast, Saturn and Mega Drive that he's slowly building up.

Outside of Sonic Con UK, he also works on RakuCon and organises a fan vocalsynth concert project named VOCAWAVES!

Elliot is the lead supervisor of Sonic Con UK! He looks after internal team communication, customer communication and external partners. He helps manage the Raku Events inbox and ensures all emails are responded to in a timely manner!
