Performer and panelist applications are now closed!
What can I do on stage?
We’re open to applications from performers, panel and workshop creators. If you have any other ideas, feel free to send them over to info@rakuevents.com. We’re excited to see what you come up with!
How long can my act be?
For scheduling purposes, the minimum length is 5 minutes. The maximum length is 45 minutes, however the final amount will be confirmed after your application is accepted. Please bear this in mind when planning!
What time will acts run from?
Saturday: 10am
What equipment is available?
The following items can be provided for acts during the day:
Performances:
Wired or wireless microphones
Video background
Monitoring speaker
Microphone stands
Lighting rig
Panels:
All performer items
Table and chairs
Other items and technology may be available, but there is no guarantee. When applying, please tell us exactly what you need and inform us in good time if this changes.
Can I bring my own staff or equipment?
Yes, but please inform us in advance. We may need to safety check items, and items brought on the day that are not accounted for may be barred from entry.
Can I record my act?
Absolutely! Please let us know if you’re bringing any equipment or need us to provide something for this. We can’t guarantee that we’ll be able to record it ourselves, so we recommend that you do it yourself or get a friend to help out.
Do acts need to buy tickets?
Acts receive a free ticket for the day. Please note this excludes the after party.
Can I sell merchandise?
Acts can sell a small amount of merchandise during the buffer before and after their time slot.
Please note you may only bring a small amount of items and the merchandise must be original and related to the performance/panel. E.g. CDs or t-shirts with your logo. You can only sell items for a limited amount of time before and after your time slot.
If you’d like a bigger space, with the freedom to sell a large amount of items and no time limit, you will need to purchase a trader table.
Please note that we cannot provide card readers or any other equipment for your table.
